MARIEKE VAN HEESBEEN
THEEPOT
This continuous series of teapots, made of stoneware, is an exploration of form in a free way. By not using molds, but loose slabs of clay, I can approach the teapot purely as a shape. In this way I create a visual language in which I can play with the principle of how we view pour.
How abstract can a form become until you start to doubt it's function?
